7. How to Check Electric Parts

!WARNING

  • To avoid electric shock, when the circuit breaker is ON, do not open the switch box.

7.1 Power Cord

If you find any damage (scratch, fissure, etc) on the wire covering of the power cord, replace the cord with a new one to prevent an electric shock or short circuit.
Check that the power cord is securely connected with the attachment plug.

!WARNING

  • When you disconnect the attachment plug, be sure to hold the plug. Do not pull the cord.

7.2 Power Button

!WARNING

  • When checking this switch, set to the circuit breaker to ON, and connect the attachment plug to the outlet.
  • When the power button is pressed (ON), the power lamp and the display panel must light up at the same time.
  • When the power button is pressed again (OFF), first the power lamp will go out and then (10 to 15 seconds later), the display panel will go out.

7.3 Power Lamp (green)

!WARNING

  • When the circuit breaker and the power button are in the ON position, check that this lamp stays lit.
  • If the power lamp does not light up during operations, there may be a problem with the power lamp (green) or wiring. Consult with EMURA FOOD MACHINE CO.

7.4 Warning Lamp (red)

  • When the machine is in operation, check that the warning lamp (red) stays lit.
  • If it is not lit when the machine is running, check for looseness or breakage of the lamp.

7.5 Speed Control Knob

  • The impeller’s rotation speeds must be controllable in a range from 90 to 170 rpm
  • When the knob is turned counterclockwise, the speed will decrease. When the knob is turned clockwise, the speed will increase.

7.6 Start Button

  • When the power lamp (green) is ON, the machine can be activated by pressing the START button.
  • If the machine is not activated by pressing the START button, check if sensors properly work. If they work properly, consult with EMURA FOOD MACHINE CO.

7.7 Stop Button

  • When the machine is in operation, it will stop by pressing the STOP button.
  • If the machine does not stop even by pressing the STOP button, set the circuit breaker to OFF to stop the machine. Consult with EMURA FOOD MACHINE CO.

7.8 Sensor

  • The discharge bucket is equipped with this switch. When the bucket is properly installed, operations will be possible. When the discharge bucket is removed, the machine will not operate.
  • f the safe plate is properly installed, operations will be possible. When the side plate is removed, the machine will not operate.

7.9 Motor

  • If water is splashed onto the motor, or if the motor is exposed to excessive moisture, insulation failure may occur. In such a case, consult with EMURA FOOD MACHINE CO.
