2.Installation

2.1 Installation of Leg Base

  • Unpack the parcel and take out the machine and the leg base.
  • Put the leg base on a flat place.
  • Hold the lifting bar and lift the machine slowly. Then, place it on the leg base. This operation should always be performed by two or more persons. Be careful not to let the machine fall.
  • Securely tighten the bolts and nuts to fix the machine on the leg base.
  • To adjust the level and stability of the machine, loosen the leg end nuts and turn the adjusting balls. After adjustment, securely tighten the end nuts.
  • After mounting the machine on the leg base, remove the lifting bar.

!CAUTION

  • After making sure that the front door is securely closed, start the above installation work.If the front door opens during installation, the machine may fall and you may be injured.
  • The machine body must be lifted by two or more persons.
  • When lifting the machine body, be sure to hold the lifting bar.If you hold other portions, the machine may be damaged.

2.2 Installation of Touch Switch

  • After installing the leg base under the machine, install the touch switch.
  • Refer to the separate instruction manual for the touch switch.

2.3 Installation of Apron

Before installing the apron, install the leg base and touch switch to the machine first.

  • ① Take the apron out of the tool box.
  • ② Hook the apron on the latch nuts through mounting holes.

!CAUTION

  • Open the front door, and check for any interference between the apron mounting plate and the front door.
  • Before moving the machine, remove the apron mounting plate.

2.4 Place for Installation

  • Install the machine on a flat floor.
  • The installation place should be well drained, dry and ventilated. Also, there should be sufficient space around the machine for daily operation, inspection and maintenance.
  • In order to supply water through the hose, connect one end of the hose with the hose pipe located on the upper portion of the machine, while connecting the other end with the faucet.
  • To adjust the level and stability of the machine, loosen the leg end nuts and turn the adjusting balls. After adjustment, securely tighten the nuts.

2.5 Power Supply

  • This machine requires the 3-phase 240-V power source. The motors used in the machine are a 3-phase 240-V 4-P 750-W motor and 200-W motor.
  • Install a proper circuit breaker having that capacity on the wall.
  • Be sure to install the ground wire.
  • The electric wiring work should only be performed by qualified personnel.
  • Refer to the electric wiring diagram for this machine on page 11-1.

!DANGER

  • Be sure to perform ground connection. The machine uses inverters, so low level electric currents run throughout the machine body.
  • Don’t connect the earth wire to any gas pipe or water pipe.
