5. Daily Inspection and Maintenance
※ To avoid injury, never inspect or perform maintenance without turning off the circuit breaker!!
5.1 Conveyor Belt
Check for a loose conveyor belt, belt deviation, and surface wear. If there is any problem, make proper adjustment or replacement in accordance with 4.1.2, 4.1.3 or 7.1.
5.2 Chain, Chain Sprocket, and Universal Joint
Rusted or lengthened chains and excessively worn sprockets should be replaced as soon as possible.
(Refer to 8.4 and 8.5.)
※ Never insert your hand in the machine during operation. You may be seriously injured.

Also, check the universal joint for the upper conveyor drive. If the joint is rusted and not operating well, or it is worn excessively, replace it as soon as possible. (Refer to 8.5)

- During daily operations or servicing, take note of the following issues. If there is any problem, promptly investigate the cause and take proper measures. If the cause is uncertain, consult with EMURA FOOD MACHINE CO., LTD.
- Check for:
(a) Abnormality in appearance or unusual noise
(b) Abnormal machine motion (intermittent movement or large vibrations)
(c) Loose or missing bolts or nuts
